LEAD IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER - PUB SEC

Qualifications: * On-call after hours/on-call support as required. * Expected to work in a shift environment in support of 24x7 operations. * Up to 10% travel can be expected. * Must have technical skills and experience in the OTN/SONET/DWDM profession. * Operate and accomplish technical tasks with minimum guidance. * Requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance. * Security+ or equivalent IAT/IAM/IASAE Level 2 of DOD 8570.1 is required. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an Information Technology field. * At least 5 years of experience in a network management environment. * Demonstrates a high level of proficiency in the OTN/SONET/DWDM profession and is required. * Expertise in the uses of network management protocols, tools and products such as One Control, MCP, DNA, TNMS, Remedy. * Fluent in the use of Microsoft Office tools to include Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio. * Ciena OC-A certification is preferred. * High level knowledge of DWDM, SONET, OTN, and TDM technology.
