Overview MasTec Communications Group is a leading national infrastructure construction company operating throughout the United States. We provide wireless and wireline communication services at scale, including cell tower construction, RF engineering, broadband fiber optic cable installation, OSP engineering, wireline construction, and emergency maintenance services. We are seeking a Director of Operations & Engineering to lead engineering delivery, team performance, and technical oversight across a multi-state telecom infrastructure environment. This role requires a strong people leader with deep telecom engineering credibility, multi-state engineering support experience, and the ability to drive accountability, workload execution, and operational consistency. Responsibilities Position Summary The Director of Operations & Engineering will lead engineering teams responsible for structural and A&E support across wireless and related infrastructure programs. This individual will oversee staff performance, workload distribution, quality, production output, and engineering standards while partnering closely with operations, project management, and executive leadership. This role is ideal for a leader who can balance technical authority, people leadership, and operational ownership in a fast-paced national environment. This is a Director-level telecom structural engineering leadership role focused on multi-state PE oversight, team leadership, and EOR/stamp responsibility — not an OSP engineering or fiber design position.
