Responsibilities As a Drafter I, you are responsible for drafting and designing OSP fiber infrastructure as well as fiber schematics. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. In addition, you will: Create accurate OSP network maps Prepare drawings and designs according to the client's engineering specifications using applicable software Provide support to other internal teams as needed, such as to permit packages and traffic control plans Make design decisions regarding construction and safety methods in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as client-supplied information Prepare detailed Construction Drawings for clients, adhering to industry standards Communicate with internal staff and clients over the phone and email Manage production/time of multiple workflows Perform quality checks on plan design drawings Have familiarity with telecom projects detailing outdoor equipment, indoor building layouts, and fiber diagrams Be detail-oriented, have a professional attitude, good communication, and be a team player Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, relationship building, self-starter, excellent time management, and organizational skills Work as part of a team or independently Set up and manage CAD drafting and…
